I am often surprised how much there is to see and notice even in places we know well and see every day. When we take the time to slow down and pay attention, there are treasures to be found everywhere.
Spring Nature Table
Out my kitchen window this morning, I can see a couple of robins hopping around on the ground. Every so often they stop and tilt their heads towards the ground. They remain still. Then quick as a flash they bob their heads down to the ground and come up with an insect or worm in their beak! I have been looking around my yard to see where they will build their nest this year. When you are outside today, pay attention to what the birds are up to.
Waldorf-Inspired Wednesday
Mrs. Thaw swept most of that new snow away again and I can see the grass in my yard. In amongst all the browns and dull greens, I can see the bright green of new shoots. Look closely can you find some new grass shoots too? It won’t be long before the Root Children start to push up their flowers from the earth.
